There’s a step by step process that should be followed .first is to Park your car on a flat surface, away from traffic. next is to Place something sturdy, like a wooden block or a brick, in front of and behind the wheel that’s diagonally across from the wheel you plan to jack up and then locate your jack and then raise your jack to the desired height. When you are done, you can now put down the jack.
