Five Finger Books

My daughter celebrated her birthday last week and I realized that maybe I could pursue my college course since my baby is already 4 years old now and I only have few units left. I thought of being enrolled at an online university so I can still look after my child while doing the school works. I told my husband about my plan and he agreed to it because he also wants me to finish my studies. I could use it as an edge if ever I would be working in the near future to help my husband support our family.

One of the things that I wish for on my birthday last night was to pass the SAT’s and have a good future ahead of me. But of course, it cannot only be done through wishes and prayers but also through studying hard like I am planning on doing. I just enrolled in some sat prep courses for me to be all ready when the exam comes. I do not have any time to study when I am at school because I still have a part-time job that I need to attend. This courses helped me cope up with the lessons and gain more experience and positive vibe when I get to that seat.

Vacation is almost here and my mom is already busy with the old books that we have. She always joins in this sell used books online project of her friends so that other people can also make use of the old but still functional books. I love that my mom is putting all her effort here and finally having the time to mingle and socialize with others, though online. She use to be so shy with other people and now she is taming it down and I am so proud of her that is why I keep my old books clean and neat for this project and for her, too.

More people nowadays are getting their college degree online simply because it is more convenient. Anyone can get an online degree you just have to look for the best online college available. People choose to go the online way because it is less hassle. Imagine how you can earn a college degree with the help of technology? You can save a lot of time effort and money. You can also work for the day and have your class at the evening since it is available all the time. You can avoid having a bully classmate who will just embarrass you in front of the class. Our professor told us to make a book review of any novel that interests us and that is currently an issue right now. Issue, meaning any stories or news that is online these days or in the tabloid for like a week or two and many other things. I had my brother order me online some textbooks that will interest me and will make me finish in just a day or two. I can read a novel in one seating as long as it is one that thrills me when reading it and that I can’t even put it down when I go to the bathroom. That will be a good novel/story.

Recession is definitely making itself felt in our country. I used to work as a technician for a telecommunications company, which eventually closed down due to a major financial breakdown. I’ve been trying to look for a job suitable for me in the ads in the papers but all I’ve ever read was for those leading administrative careers.

I wasn’t one to apply for those kind of jobs since I wasn’t even good with words in the first place. Then, just like what I’ve been hoping for, a job opening for computer and electric technicians has opened at a factory of a famous plastic manufacturer. In these times of recession, I guess you could just hope for the best to happen.
